Power Paws
Mental Health America of Lake County is currently forming an animal assisted activities program for students ages 11 to 18. Parents As Teachers
Parents As Teachers works with parents to provide them with parenting support and information on their developing child. PAT is designed to foster strong, loving relationships between parents and their children. Please call (219) 922-3822 to enroll.
Healthy Families Lake County
Healthy Families Lake County, a voluntary program for expectant parents and parents with newborns, promotes healthy families and children through a variety of services in their community. Ideally, entry into the program is during pregnancy or immediately following the birth of the baby. However, a family may enroll until the newborn is three months old. I’m Thumbody Special
I’m Thumbody Special is presented to students in a classroom setting. The program encourages children to see differences as valuable, as something that makes us unique. Girls Inc.
Girls Inc. programs revolve around helping girls through education to have the tools necessary to use responsible behavior and decision-making tools that will shape their lives.
